The Head of the UNSMIL, Ghassan Salame, held a joint press conference with the Italian Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, at the end of Palermo Conference on Tuesday evening. Salame told reporters that he had heard a much louder sound of unity within the international community in political, security and economic fields in Libya, and heard and saw a much higher level of conviviality among Libyan stakeholders.
