AfricArena presents an opportunity to explore tomorrow’s trends today by showcasing some of Africa’s most innovative startups and connecting them with investors, corporates and enablers to accelerate their growth.

We strongly believe in the power of providing a platform that fosters bright and forward-thinking minds to network, get inspired and co-build a stronger tech startup investment ecosystem for Africa.

The AfricArena Summit is an annual tech conference that showcases Africa’s best startups and innovators in front of an audience of local and international investors looking for the most promising tech startups. A 2-day conference that will feature pitches from 35+ startups operating all across Africa between the Seed and Growth stage. This year, AfricArena will organise 5 hybrid events across 5 regions in Africa, building up to the annual AfricArena Summit in Cape Town. The Regional Events will bring together startups, investors and corporations operating in the Region and across Africa. 30+ startups from Africa will be selected to pitch at the Johannesburg Event. Those events will act as a semi-final pitch sessions before our Grand Summit in Cape Town in December 2023. The Dakar Summit will be taking place on the 24 and 25th of May in Dakar, Senegal. The 2-day conference will feature pitches from 30+ startups operating all across Africa in specific sectors, between Seed stage and Growth stage, as well as keynotes and panel discussions from the top minds in business, tech and investment in the region. We are also pleased to announce that Startupbootcamp AfriTech will be hosting their Demo Day during the summit on the 25th.
